The offices of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation were the venue for a meeting between Director Marco Riccardo Rusconi and a delegation from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), led by CEO Laura Frigenti.
The meeting was an opportunity to reiterate AICS’ commitment to the issues of inclusive and equitable quality education in the African continent, particularly in the northern area and in the Sahel region, and to explore opportunities of collaboration in the near future.
The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is the multilateral partnership that specifically and exclusively aims to finance the implementation of the Fourth Sustainable Development Goal and also has the role of facilitating sectoral collaboration between international partners and countries receiving aid.
