The AICS Director Marco Riccardo Rusconi and the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Albania, Anila Denaj, met at the Agency’s headquarters in Rome to discuss the intense cooperation activity ongoing.
“Albania is a priority country for AICS, with strong and intense relations also due to its geographical proximity,” the words of Director Rusconi. “Our current commitment is in continuity with the Italian Government’s history of cooperation in the Western Balkans and around the world.”
The meeting with Minister Denaj focused on the Blue economy and support for the agricultural sector, in light of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in March 2023 on cooperation in the agriculture, fishing and agri-food processing sectors between the Ministry of Agriculture , of the Food and Forestry Sovereignty of the Italian Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Albania.
