Digitalization practices and strategies for economic development, efficiency of production systems, speed of procedures and overcoming barriers to access to services.

These are some of the themes at the center of the mission to Italy of a delegation from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Mozambique (MCTES), led by Permanent Secretary Nilsa Sandra Miquidade. The mission was organized by the Agency for Digital Italy (AGID), partner of the DIGIT development cooperation project financed by AICS.

The delegation had the opportunity to visit some of the Italian excellences in the high technology sector including the City of Science and the Apple Academy at the Federico II University of Naples, the LUISS Venture Hub accelerator, the ENI innovation school Joule and the Dock3 incubator of Roma Tre University. Each reality offered valuable ideas for designing the technological hubs that the Agency and its partners intend to create in Mozambique through the DIGIT project and the Vamoz Digital project, financed by the European Commission.
