Director Marco Riccardo Rusconi led a delegation from the Agency, which also included the Head of the Kiev office Pietro Pipi, to the two-day Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin.
The conference, which was opened by the Vice President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani, was an opportunity for the Agency, as an actor in the Italian Cooperation system, to actively participate in the high-level panels , with particular reference to the human dimension and culture, energy, transport, digital and health.
A transversal element in all the panels was the full involvement of the institutions, civil society and the business world of Ukraine, confirming the collective effort that the country, victim of Russian aggression, is putting in place in terms of reconstruction, in terms of sustainable development and with a view to joining the European Union.
With the passing of the baton to Italy, symbolically taken up by the Deputy Foreign Minister Edmondo Cirielli, for the organization of the next edition of the conference, the Agency will intensify its commitment, with the decisive contribution of its headquarters in Kiev, for a even more extensive and effective cooperation and partnership.
