The Global Education Network Europe (GENE) has launched the fifth edition of the Global Education Youth Award to recognize quality initiatives within the framework of the European Declaration on Global Education to 2050. This edition of the award aims to highlight Global Citizenship Education initiatives that involve young people as protagonists in reflections, dialogues, and actions concerning the process of change for sustainable and inclusive societies and their role in this process.
With a prize of €10,000, GENE intends to support high-quality youth initiatives in Global Citizenship Education that, through transformative learning and an innovative approach, raise awareness about the need to improve policies on Global Citizenship Education across Europe.
