AICS Khartoum Office Closes

The territorial competence for the Central African Republic will be transferred to the AICS office in Niamey (Niger), in addition to those already held over Cameroon, Chad, and the Republic of the Congo.

Following the resolution of the Joint Development Cooperation Committee No. 64 on 28.06.2024, the Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation ordered, with determination No. 1976 of 28.06.2024, the closure of the AICS office in Khartoum on June 30, 2024.

As a result, the territorial competence for Eritrea and Sudan will be assigned to the AICS office in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), in addition to those already held over Djibouti and South Sudan, starting from July 1, 2024. The territorial competence for the Central African Republic will be transferred to the AICS office in Niamey (Niger), in addition to those already held over Cameroon, Chad, and the Republic of the Congo.
