Today, at the AICS headquarters, a visit was held by the Ambassador of Burundi, Ernest Ndabashinze, and the First Counselor, Emile Butoyi.
At the center of the discussion with the Director of AICS, Marco Riccardo Rusconi, were the Mattei Plan and Italy’s growing commitment in Africa.
The Director also recalled the various ongoing projects in Burundi focused on humanitarian channels and the numerous initiatives promoted by NGOs and local entities, funded by AICS. He highlighted the upcoming opening of the AICS office in Kampala, which will also cover Rwanda and Burundi, allowing for greater proximity and a more convenient presence in the territory.
