Education for Sustainable Development: National Green School Italia Seminar in Rome on October 10

The event will highlight the results from the first two years of the Green School Italia Program, a network of schools and communities dedicated to sustainable development, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).

On Thursday, October 10, at 9:30 a.m. at Villa Altieri in Rome, Green School Italia will host the national seminar Education for Sustainable Development: The Contribution of Local Areas to Global Goals.

The event will highlight the results from the first two years of the Green School Italia Program, a network of schools and communities dedicated to sustainable development, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).

So far, Green School has involved over 730 schools that actively promote sustainable development, reduce carbon footprints, and encourage positive behaviors among students, families, and local communities.

Delegates from major national institutions will be in attendance. Representing AICS, Grazia Sgarra, Head of Office VII – Cooperation Entities, Partnerships, and Sustainable Finance, and AICS official Irene Romualdi will participate.

The event is free and open to the public, with a maximum of 90 spots available for in-person attendance. Registration is required and can be completed through this link.
