The DAC Recommendation on Enabling Civil Society in Development Co-operation and Humanitarian Assistance was adopted on 6 July 2021. Through this Recommendation, DAC members recognise that more must be done to enable civil society actors to maximise their contributions to the 2030 Agenda, to leaving no one behind, and to protecting and strengthening democracy. The webinar will bring together development co-operation and humanitarian assistance policy-makers and practitioners, CSOs and other stakeholders, to share knowledge about the Recommendation’s objectives and provisions, as well as on related next steps, including implementation and monitoring of the Recommendation.
