G7 Apulia Progress Report 2024: Advancing Sustainable Development in Africa
For 2024, the Italian Presidency selected Africa as the focus for the Report, recognising the continent’s significant potential for sustainable development and its crucial role as a partner in advancing progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Agenda 2063, and the Paris Agreement. The Presidency also introduced a gender equality lens as a key feature of the report, demonstrating a commitment to fostering a gender-transformative development approach.
Promotion and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities
In 2022, AICS has invested 8% of total funding in disability with projects that focus more on the sector of health, education, governance and strengthening the knowledge of civil society.
