On November 25, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, in observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) will host the event “Violence Against Women: The Cross-Cutting Nature of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in Development and Humanitarian Action.”
The meeting is aimed at stakeholders within the Italian System, with the goal of raising awareness and fostering dialogue with implementing entities of development cooperation and humanitarian aid programs about the importance of actively contributing to the fight against sexual and gender-based violence.
The date, November 25, as every year, marks the start of the global campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and strongly reaffirms AICS’s commitment to the fight for gender equality and against all forms of violence.
