The San Patrignano Community and Confindustria have organized the sixth edition of the Sustainable Economy Forum, the Forum on the sustainable economy which represents an important moment of reflection and sharing of experiences on the key themes of sustainability and responsibility in their various declinations and in the most various sectors .
This edition tried to decline the theme of sustainability in consideration of recent crises reflecting on the challenges that Italy is called to respond to from energy saving to digital transformation, moving on to contributing to the growth of Africa.
The Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Marco Riccardo Rusconi, was the protagonist of a panel entitled “Africa and the Italian Contribution“: “Encouraging the ownership of countries and communities and focusing on human resources through training, knowledge transfer and support for innovation are some of the cornerstones of AICS,” he declared during his speech. “For this challenge, the contribution of the private sector, as provided for by Law 125, is increasingly important. A contribution that must be included, in the spirit of the Mattei Plan, in the partnership with other cooperation entities, from universities to local authorities , to CSOs.”
